expand_moreWhat services do Samamiah provide?We provide door-to-door shipping from the UK to Ghana which takes between 4 – 6 weeks from the point of collection to delivery. We also provide “freight only” service for shipment of vehicles and containers. Please see our terms and conditions of service for more information.

expand_moreDo you ship to every part of Ghana?Yes, we do cover most parts of Ghana. However, for locations outside our catchment area, we do deliver through the State transport company (STC) to main lorry stations. Your recipient can pick the shipment up from the lorry station.

expand_moreAre there maximum weight and size limits for a parcel?Yes, we advise weight and size of parcels should meet guidelines from Health and safety UK to make parcels easy to handle.

expand_moreDoes my recipient need to pay anything when the goods arrive in Ghana?No, they will not be charged. All expenses are covered for in the one charge you pay to transport your goods door-to-door.

expand_moreWhat should I do if my consignment is damaged on arrival in Ghana?You would have to report of loss or damages within 7 days of receiving items. We will investigate your complaint within 28 days and revert. If we a liable for damages, we will compensate you in accordance with our terms and conditions of service.

expand_moreWithin what time frame do I have to report a lost or damaged item?Within 7 days, however all items would have to be inspected before signing the delivery note.

expand_moreHow long does it take for my goods to arrive in Ghana?Usually all items are distributed to the recipient's location in Ghana within 6 weeks from the date of collection.

expand_moreHow do we pack our things so that they don't get damaged?We advise our customers to use boxes and packaging materials that are in good condition. If you must reuse a box, please make sure it is in an excellent condition with no holes, tears, rips or corner damage and that all flaps are intact. Also, goods such as edibles should not be parked together with non-edible items like toiletries etc.
